He's living in a slum.

He's problably wearing all the clothes he owns.
He's sleeping on a cardboard box.

He's tougher than Spiderman or Superman could ever hope to be.

This little guy has what all us grown-ups need...

The ability to look beyond what his circumstances are...
and to believe it's gonna be better one day.

I wonder what he's dreaming about....

he's a real life Superhero.

Columbus Day?!

WHAT, pray tell, are we celebrating on Columbus day?

Yeah, yeah I know who he was...I know he "discovered" the "new world" and all that good stuff. But I'm thinking here...uhhh sooooo why is America getting the day off off this? (Okay. So not EVERYBODY gets off work...I'll give 'em that much. But I know a WHOLE BUNCH of folks who DO. )

Dude. If Christopher Columbus knew we took a day off work in his name...he'd prolly laugh in our faces.

This is the dude that took it upon himself to convince the Queen of Spain to convince the King of Spain to give him ( Columbus) money AND ships AND men AND resources enough to embark on a "mission" that, for all they knew would end in NOTHING.

So, now that I'm thinking about it...He kinda deserves to have a day named after him.

He was a pretty smooth guy.
