I DON'T like old country....when it's OLD country. I DO like the NEW remakes though. For example...Martina Mcbride's new C.D. Timeless is a blessing from above. It's got all the old songs with a new voice! I don't have to endure Conway's voice anymore cause now...he sounds like Martina! YAY!!!

Heartaches By the Number

PRAY FOR ME.

Today I listened to classic country...AND I LIKED IT.

I'm really ashamed.

You guys have no clue how much I've ragged my brother( Josiah) for liking this stuff.

It's AWFUL. I mean, Conway Twitty IS NOT cool in my book. I think he's dumb...But here I am singing, "I DON'T HURT ANYMORE!" ( Actually, that's not Conway Twitty. I did my little blogger-girl homework and found out Hank Snow sings that song)

SO, why did I post this useless information????

Well, I just thought it VERY strange that I should all of the sudden start enjoying something TODAY that my whole life I couldn't stand.

I guess my question for you guys would be......Am I the only person in the whole world that this has ever happened to? Have you guys ever had a VERY SUDDEN change of opinion?

Am I stuck liking this mess for the rest of my life?

Do I really like it if I just called it "mess"?

I've Always Thought of You stole my heart the very first time I heard it. I'm a WAY BIG Tommy Emmanuel fan and I love anything he writes, but this song is my favorite. If souls were songs, I think this is what mine would sound like. It's one of my most favorite songs in the whole wide world.

I Love Legal People.

It matters not to me who or what they are. Russian, Filipino, Welsh, Mexican, Dutch, Chinese....I don't really care where they're from.

IF THEY'RE ILLEGAL...THEY'RE ILLEGAL. That means they're breaking the law...which means they're CRIMINALS.

I don't understand people who try to take up for these CRIMINALS! Yeah, maybe they work hard. Maybe they had to risk their lives to make it here. I DON'T CARE. They're BREAKING the LAWS of this country. And as an LEGAL American citizen I can't find any excuse for them to be here.


Please don't think I have an attitude against ANYONE. I'm not wishing bad on anyone. I don't have a complex against any certain race of people. Really, I LOVE for folks to find their dreams here. It's what America is about. If we trace our roots back far enough...we ALL immigrated from somewhere. I just want to see folks come here and pursue their dreams LEGALLY.
